A  20-year-old man was shot Saturday night on Spencer near Prouty in South Toledo.

Police say it happened around 10:20 p.m.  24-year-old Josh Pariseau and his 20-year-old brother Robin Williams were making a trip to the carryout, walking along Spencer Avenue near Prouty when someone tried to rob them.

"They pistol whipped me twice." Pariseau said. "Four dudes jumped me, pistol whipped me and shot him in the leg."

Pariseau said a man began shooting at them when they tried to run away. Josh says he was jumped in the alley by four suspects. Robin was shot in the lower leg as he ran. Williams managed to make it home to his house on Ingomar and call police.

Josh says he has a busted lip, broken nose and broken toe. Williams was released from the hospital on Sunday morning and is recovering at home.

The gunman is described as a young black male wearing dark clothing.
