Man stabbed by intruder in South Toledo home

Steven Gurney, 50, was stabbed Wednesday evening in the 1100 block of Seymour Rd. Gurney suffered superficial stab wounds to the leg.

The man says he was taking garbage out to his garage when he discovered someone was inside. That person then attacked, stabbing him multiple times.

The suspect is on the loose at this time.

Gurney was taken to University of Toledo Medical Center.
