Kamecia Micheal-Carter is charged with felonious assault
TOLEDO, Ohio -
Toledo Police have arrested and charged 21-year-old Kamecia Micheal-Carter with felonious assault. They say she intentionally hit a woman on the sidewalk outside the Upton Bar and Grill.
The victim, Brittany Reynolds, is in serious condition at an area hospital.
Police say around 2:30 a.m. early Saturday morning, Carter and Reynolds were inside the bar and left after a disturbance.
Once they got outside, police say Carter got into her car and struck Reynolds who was on the sidewalk.
Investigators shut down traffic on Upton between Central and Berdan for three hours.
Carter is currently being held at the Lucas County Jail.
