
TOLEDO - The Detroit Red Wings of the NHL have reassigned goaltender Jordan Pearce to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Pearce started this season in Grand Rapids with a 0-3-0 record, a 4.38 GAA and a .847 SVP. The 26 year old goaltender has an 11-7-1 record with the Walleye this year with a 2.56 GAA and a .906 SVP. The Anchorage, Alaska native is one the ECHL leaders with two shutouts (tied 4th) and he has 5 total with Toledo, a Walleye record.
The Griffins will host the Oklahoma City Barons on Wednesday and the Houston Aeros on Friday and Saturday.
