Space heater blamed for Saturday morning fire

Toledo, Ohio - (WTVG) -- Investigators believe a space heater caused a house fire Saturday morning.

It happened around 2:30am on East Oakland Street near Franklin Avenue.

Firefighters say one person lived in the home but they were not home at the time of the fire.

Crews say the fire was caused by a space heater that was left plugged in.

The fire caused a couple of thousands dollars worth of damage.
