Saturday's winter weather caused cars to lose control and spin out on highways around the area.
The driver of a white four-door sedan was heading south on Interstate 75 near the Fremont Pike when her car spun out and hit the concrete median twice.
Both airbags in the car deployed, filling the car with powder. The driver was not hurt.
Dicey conditions on the highways didn't help in another accident southbound on I-475 near Central Avenue.
"I think this lady that I hit came from the Central Avenue lane and somebody spun out in front of her or cut her off or something...a red vehicle," said Robert Rutledge, driver who was involved in an accident. "The next the I knew she was in front of me sideways."
Rutledge's car and the other vehicle ended up spinning around, hitting the guardrail and facing the wrong direction.
"The roads were bad. It was pretty slick, it was really bad then," Rutledge said. "Now they're cleared up a little bit"
Tow trucks have been keeping busy. "We're 24/7, 365," said tow truck driver Michael Lambert.
Fortunately, in these cases, the cars took the brunt of the damage and the drivers were not hurt.
