Numerous accidents reported in Monroe Co. due to weather

Monroe County Sheriff's Office are urging motorist to be careful on the roads. There are numerous accidents are being reported on I-75 and on US 23. At this time, the National Weather Service has placed the area under a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.
The Advisory states: Moderate snow is forecasted to accumulated to 2"-3" along and south of the I-94 corridor by early this afternoon. Localized amounts of up to 4 inches will be possible near the immediate Ohio border. Lesser amounts of 1"-2" inches are expected across far northern portions of the Detroit metropolitan area.

Two Toledo firefighters suffered minor Monday morning after a fire in West Toledo. It happened in the 3600 block of Berkerly near Berdan.
