Ohio AG asks for help locating sex offender

Posted: Updated:

The Ohio Attorney General is asking for help finding a Tier III sex offender.

Michael Vanscoder, 30, was convicted of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2004 and 2009.  He's wanted on a warrant for failing to verify his address.  Vanscoder was released from prison in May 2012 and last registered his address on 17th Street in Toledo in October.

Michael Vanscoder is six feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.  He has a tattoo of a cross on his right hand, tattoo sleeves on both arms and several neck tattoos.

If you have any information on Michael Vanscoder's whereabouts, call the Lucas County Sheriff's Office or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at 855-224-6446.
