A brawl breaks out at a boys' basketball game at Scott High School. Now Toledo Public Schools leaders have identified the students who started the fight and are taking steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Toledo Public Schools
leaders have identified three girls caught on camera fighting in the stands at
a Scott High School basketball game. School
officials say two girls are TPS students. The third is not a student in the
district.
The fight broke out
Friday night at the Scott vs. Rogers
boys basketball game. TPS officers and sheriff deputies used maces to break up
the crowd. The two girls were restrained by sheriff deputies, but they got
away.
School leaders say one
student attends Scott High School, and the other goes to Keyser Elementary School.
They are investigating what school the third girl attends.
School leaders used
13abc video to identify the two girls. Administrators say they are also
reviewing the video to see how they can improve safety at sporting events.
We're told it's possible
the girls involved in the fight could face charges.
