A blast of cold air is diving to the south very fast this weekend. Northern and central Florida is under a hard freeze warning. The sub freezing weather could hit some of the orange crop and farmers are being warned to protect or harvest tender vegetation before the cold hits. A wind chill advisory is in effect all the way into southern Florida as strong winds will drive the wind chill to around the freezing mark.

Portions of Moore, Oklahoma were ravaged by a mile-wide tornado this Monday afternoon. This follows a near-record quiet start to tornado season. Strong storms may reach northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan by Tuesday.
