"Toledo Loves Love" mural a romantic photo op

Posted: Updated:

If you're planning a late Valentine's Day outing and you're looking for a romantic backdrop, how about this?

It's a mural painted on the side of a building late last summer.

At the top it proclaims "Toledo loves love."

Those with Art Corner Toledo put the project together at the corner of Adams and 13th.

They say it's the perfect spot for romantic pictures.

"People do take pictures, "agrees Rachel Richardson of Art Corner Toledo. "They take senior pictures and people do photo shoots out here all the time. Again, I hadn't even thought about Valentine's Day, so I wonder if anyone will."

Art Corner Toledo is an agency that partners artists with activists to create works of public art.

Organizers say it's a way of promoting Toledo's creative community and that other projects set for this summer are already in the works.
