Sanders Named GLIAC Track Athlete of the Week

FINDLAY - Senior Tim Sanders was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Track Athlete of the Week on Feb. 18 for his performances in the Buckeye Tune-Up, which concluded on Feb. 15 in Columbus, Ohio.

Sanders teamed with Michael Travis, Dillon Webster and Kyle Smithey to take third in the 4x400-meter relay with a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 3:14.89 and also finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 8.02.

The Delphos, Ohio native added a third place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line with a provisional qualifying mark of 22.41.
