Chrysler released the first images of the new Jeep Cherokee on Saturday. That new vehicle will replace the Jeep Liberty.
Ryan Ritzler, sales manager at Yark Automotive, is excited. "I thought they did a great job redesigning the vehicle. The front end looks totally different, the side, the back...I mean it really does look impeccable."
Ritzler isn't the only one impressed by the new model. Motor Trend magazine gushed, "The bold, mid-sized SUV won't be like anything else on the road."
This new Cherokee debuts at the New York Auto Show in March. Features include three sets of front lights, the distinctive seven-bar Jeep grill and a 45 percent boost in fuel economy.
The Cherokee will be build in Toledo at the Chrysler Assembly Complex. Production is expected to begin May 23 and the Cherokee should hit the showroom in July.
