Winter Storm Watches posted, north & west

Winter Storm Watches have been issued for the northwestern half of the 13abc viewing area for Tuesday and Tuesday evening.

This includes southeast Michigan, plus Fulton, Henry, Putnam, Allen, Williams, Defiance and Paulding Counties of Ohio. 

On Tuesday afternoon and evening, a heavy wintry mix will arrive, and produce wet snow across the northwestern part of the area, with a mix of sleet, wet snow, freezing rain and rain near US 24 and the Toledo area.

Farther southeast, much of the precipitation will fall as cold rain.

    Lakota Local Schools will be dismissing early on Tuesday.  Because of low water pressure, school administrators tell 13abc that all grades will be dismissed at 11:45am.
