Monclova and Springfield Twp. fire crews were called to a fire at Johns Manville factory on River Road in Waterville around 6:00 p.m. Friday.

A company spokesperson tells 13abc employees noticed smoke coming from a stack at the bag house.  The structure is used to catch particles and keep them from getting outside.

The stack was not in use at the time.  Workers called the fire department to investigate.

Investigators are looking into what caused the smoke.  There were no reports of any major damage.
