A Toledo Public Schools
principal who was accused of sexually harassing a teacher is back on the job.
Anthony Bronaugh is
principal at Robinson Elementary. He was put on paid administrative leave in
November after accusations were made against him by a special education teacher
at the elementary.
The Toledo Police sex
crimes unit investigated the case, and the prosecutor's office decided not to
file charges.
TPS released the
following statement to 13abc:
"Mr. Anthony Bronaugh
returned to work as Principal after serving an extended suspension for
violating board policy. Several accusations of misconduct, including
harassment, were brought forward against Mr. Bronaugh late last year. A
thorough investigation was conducted into these allegations and in the end it
was determined that Mr. Bronaugh did not violate the board's harassment policy.
The other allegations were found to be unsubstantiated.
"As a result, Mr.
Bronaugh has completed mandatory training in regards to board policy, which
sets forth a strong statement of Toledo
Public School's
commitment to a workplace free from harassment."
