Sandusky cuts would hit police, fire departments

The city of Sandusky is facing a $500,00 deficit and planning some major cuts to make up for that red ink.

The Sandusky Register reports leaders are planning to cut $2.2 million dollars and 27 positions in the city through 2014.

Those cuts would affect most departments of city government, including police and fire.
