Averesch, Sanders Compete In Day Two Of National Championships

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - The University of Findlay men and women's indoor track and field team completed day two of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, March 8 in Birmingham, Ala.

Kendra Averesch finished fifth in the shot put with a heave of 47'07.00. The winner of the event was Sam Lockhart from Grand Valley State with a mark of 55'03.34.

For the men, Tim Sanders missed the cut in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles by four-thousandths of a second with a time of 8.018.
