Mississippi mans epic obituary goes viral

Harry Stamps died the last day before this year's Daylight Savings Time, his obituary claims this was a protest to the practice he hated.

That unique fact and others from the obituary of 80-year-old Harry Stamps has lead thousands to share it on Facebook and Twitter.

The Mississippi man, "had a life-long love affair with deviled eggs." His daughter, who wrote the obituary, also listed the things Harry hated, including, phonies, his 1969 Volvo, know-it-all Yankees, Southerners who used the words "veranda," Law and Order (all franchises) and Martha Stewart. He particularly hated Day Light Saving Time.

Stamps was a Dean at Mississippi Gulf Coast College for many years and clearly a true individual as charmingly described in this obit that gone viral.
