Residents run for safety after fire rips through home in Maumee

Maumee, OHIO (WTVG) - Firefighters in Maumee say everyone made it out safely after a fire broke out inside a home Saturday morning.

It happened just before 2:00am on the 400 block of East John Street.

Crews say people were inside of the home at the time of the fire. They all managed to make it outside without getting hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
