A Michigan man is dead after Michigan State Police say a teenager crashed into his SUV Friday evening.

Troopers responded to the scene of a two-car crash on Bunton Road at Talladay Road in Augusta Township.

They say a preliminary investigation indicates that Halee Campbell, 18, was driving westbound on Talladay Road and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Bunton. Campbell drove into the intersection and crashed into an SUV driven by 63-year-old Michael Toth of Willis, Michigan.

Mr. Toth died at the scene. Campbell was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor for treatment.

Both drivers were alone in their vehicles and wearing seatbelts. Troopers are continuing the investigation into the crash.
