Police to St. Paddy's Day partiers: Stay off the roads

Police have a familiar message for St. Patrick's Day partiers this year: stay off the roads.
Law enforcement agencies are setting up checkpoints all over the region in hopes of keeping people safe.
Lt. William Bowers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reminded drivers, "My family is out there. Your family is out there every night. You're out there every night and who's not to say one of us can't be the victim of an impaired driver."
Police say designate a non-drinking driver or call a cab if you're going out to celebrate.

A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods with winds up to 200 mph. At least 51 people were reported killed.
Emergency crews searched through debris in Oklahoma searching for survivors and the dead. At least 24 people were killed in Moore. Many others remain missing.
