I-75 was coated with ice
Monday morning, causing a number of accidents.
In the early morning
hours, state troopers were extremely busy responding to reports of vehicles
sliding off the highway all along I-75 from Perrysburg to North
Baltimore.
Traffic was backed up
for miles in both directions, while crews worked to clear the roads.
One semi truck driver
ended up in the ditch when he hit a solid sheet of ice on the interstate.
US 24 heading into Toledo also saw several
accidents. O-DOT crews were out all morning salting the roads.

Toledo firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in Toledo. The fire broke out at a home on the 1100 block of Avondale just after 11:30pm Tuesday. Dispatchers tell us heavy flames are showing.
