Sandbags are being made available for Findlay residents at Emory Adams Park, the Cube at 3430 North Main Street, and at the Parker Lumber building at the corner of South West Street and West Crawford Street.

The City's Call Center is open and can be reached for non emergency calls at 419-424-7000. If you have an emergency call 9-1-1.

(AP) — Michigan residents have been asked to respect rattlesnakes in light of a recent incident at an Ann Arbor botanical garden.A report filed by the University of Michigan Police Department says a young girl was bitten by an Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake earlier this summer. The child was not wearing shoes, so police don't know if she stepped on the snake before it bit her leg.
