Walleye Announce Protected List for 2013-14 Season

The Toledo Walleye have placed six defensemen and eight forwards on its protected players list for the 2013-14 season. The Walleye have first right of refusal on any player named to the team's list, and they can sign the players before another team in the ECHL. \

The list comprises of:

Defensemen: Cody Lampl, Wes O'Neill, Phil Oreskovic, Phil Rauch, Joey Ryan, Erik Spady
Forwards: Aaron Bogosian, Adam Hobson, Joey Ryan, Nino Musitelli, Travis Novak, Kyle Rogers, Randy Rowe, Stephon Thorne
 
Teams are allowed to protect as many players as they wish provided the players protected meet the guidelines as defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association.
 
The ECHL also announced that teams must complete all Future Consideration trades by 3 p.m. ET on June 13 and that teams must submit their Season-Ending Roster by 3 p.m. ET on June 15. Season-ending rosters may include up to 20 players and cannot include any players who did not sign an ECHL contract in 2012-13.

    The 39th Junior PGA Championship presented by Under Armour and Genesis Networks, one of the nation’s premier events in junior golf, is making its first visit to the state of Texas, as an elite field of 156 junior golfers have descended on Miramont Country Club in Bryan, Texas.     Milan, MI driver Harold Fair Jr. sailed to victory in the Moran Chevrolet-Stan Yee Memorial 150 Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. Fair led 135 of the 150 laps, battling off several challenges for the lead in the process.
