Family suing driver, bar in fatal alcohol-related crash

Posted: Updated:

The family of a man killed in a Christmas morning crash is suing the driver and the bar they say served him too much alcohol.

Investigators say Adam Tunison was driving the wrong way on I-75 when he slammed into a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Juan Garcia. Garcia was killed in the crash.

Garcia's family is now seeking $2.5 million in damages.

The complaint names Adam Tunison, as well as the man who owns the car he was driving that night, Raymond Tunison. Also named in the suit are Chuck's on Monroe and its owner, Bimma-Rock Enterprises.
