The Sylvania prosecutor is reviewing the case of a TPD officer accused of attacking a family. Investigators say the officer snapped because the family was parked in a fire lane while putting groceries in their car.

Charges have been filed against the Toledo police officer accused of breaking out the window of a family's car.

According to the Sylvania prosecutor's office, Officer Robert Adams now faces aggravated menacing and criminal damaging charges.

A woman claims Adams hit and kicked her car in the Kroger parking lot in Spring Meadows earlier this month.

She says he even pulled out a gun.

It all happened while her 7-year-old child was in the car.

Adams is on paid administrative leave. No court date has yet been set.
