$10K reward in case of missing Toledo toddler

Posted: Updated:

Police are still looking for answers in the case of missing one-year-old Elaina Steinfurth. A $10,000 was announced Wednesday for information in the case, and national television host Nancy Grace is even getting involved with the case.

On Tuesday night, a picture of Baby Eliana was posted on Nancy Grace's Facebook page.

By Wednesday the photo has been shared more than 2,000 times.

Police have searched the nearby river and woods surrounding the East Toledo area where Steinfurth was last seen.

Investigators say they are following some new leads but will not provide details.

We talked with Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine Wednesday about the ongoing search.

"What we do know is that there is somebody out there somewhere who knows something," he says. "Whether they are willing to come forward to us and tell the local authorities is another question."

The state's top attorney says Baby Elaina's photo has also been posted on the attorney general's website.

There is a $10,000 reward for anyone who can provide information about Elaina's whereabouts. If you know anything, you're asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
