13abc All-American Blood Drive

Posted: Updated:

It's time to roll up your sleeves for 13abc's annual All-American Blood Drive!

The event kicks off at the University of Toledo's Rocket Hall on Friday, June 28 from 7am to 6pm.

The campaign will continue at the Red Cross Donor Center at 3510 Executive Parkway until June 30.

Everyone who comes out to give blood will receive a hot dog from The Oasis and a special All-American t-shirt!

"Summer is typically a challenging time for the Red Cross because most people are too busy to think about giving blood," said Tracy Duncan-Fox, Spokesperson for the Western Lake Erie Region of the American Red Cross. "But the need for blood doesn't take a summer vacation, and we are asking that people make giving blood part of their summer to-do list."

Call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make a blood donation appointment. Someone's life could depend on it. You can also visit redcrossblood.org from more information.

Please consider participating and give the gift of life!
