Home prices in the U.S. jumped 12.2 percent in May compared to this time last year.
That's the most in seven years. The jump suggests the housing market is recovering.
Real estate data provider CoreLogic says home prices rose in 48 states.
Prices only fell in Delaware and Alabama. In addition, all but three of the 100 largest cities in the U.S. reported price gains.
CoreLogic also says prices rose 2.6 percent in May from April, the fifteenth straight month-over-month increase.
