The University of Findlay men's soccer team is slated to play eight home games at DeHaven Field in 2013 as head coach Andy Smyth enters his 25th year at the helm of the program with 183 career victories.
The Oilers will open their season with three straight road games beginning on Sept. 7 at Lewis University. From there they will head to Concord University (9/9) and Tiffin University (9/13) before their first home contest against Walsh University on Sept. 15.
On Sept. 20 the Oilers will host Lake Erie College and then remain at home on Sept. 24 to welcome Notre Dame (Ohio) College to town. They will then hit the road to face Saginaw Valley State University (9/27) and Northwood University (9/29) to close the month of September.
October begins with two home games against Ohio Dominican University (10/4) and Malone University (10/6). The team will then head to Lake Erie College (10/11) before returning home to face Tiffin University (10/18). After a road game at Walsh University on Oct. 20, the Oilers will end the month with a pair of home contests against Saginaw Valley State University (10/25) and Northwood University (10/27).
The Oilers will end their regular season on the road as they begin November with games against Ohio Dominican University (11/1) and Malone University (11/3). The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament is then slated to begin on Nov. 5 and conclude on Nov. 10.
