Lourdes University men's lacrosse coach Patrick Yannarelli has announced the signing of two more players to letters of intent to play for the Gray Wolves beginning this fall. Andy Thomas is transferring to the school after two years at the University of Toledo while James Sandels arrives from Revere High School.

Thomas is a defender who played for two seasons on the Rockets' club team. A native of Northwood, Ohio, he played four years of high school lacrosse at Saint Francis de Sales High School, including two years on the varsity for coach Chris Pavain. He intends on studying biology at Lourdes.

"Andy will be looking to come out strong this year," Yannarelli stated. He is big defenseman who uses his body positioning and long stick very well together. He has the ability to lock down attack men and will be an asset as a leader and a physical presence on the defensive end."
Sandels is an attacker from Copley, Ohio who lettered as a senior for the Minutemen under coach Nick Pappas. He is undecided upon a major at this time.

"James really came into his own his senior year and we are very excited about his balanced offensive output," Yannarelli commented. "He was great on the inside as a finisher as well as on the outside as a feeder. He will be a great addition to our attack and bring the intensity needed on the offensive side."
