OHP investigating double fatal crash in Seneca Co.

Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash in Adams Township in Seneca County near Clyde.

The crash occurred Wednesday morning around 6:50 a.m. on TR32 at CR34, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Authorities say Dillon Spencer, age 21, from Clyde, was northbound on TR32 in a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix.

James Turner, age 45, from Bellevue, was westbound on CR 34.

OHP says Spencer failed to stop at stop sign and struck Turner's vehicle. Both vehicles traveled off the northwest corner of the intersection and caught fire.

Witnesses attempted to assist however both drivers were pronounced dead that the scene. The crash remains under investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
