Lourdes University baseball coach Andy Ham has announced that the Gray Wolves have added a pair of transfers from Ashland University to the roster for the upcoming 2014 season. Joining the Gray Wolves are right-handed pitcher Brandon Holt and outfielders/right-handed pitcher Sebastian Neikirk.

Holt pitched mainly with the Eagles' junior varsity team in 2013, but did pitch one scoreless inning on varsity at Ashland. A native of Ravenna, Ohio, Holt was a three-time First Team All-Portage Trail Conference selection out of Ravenna High School. He earned Honorable Mention All-State accolades as a senior while setting the school's single season hits record with 44. Holt also earned All-District honors twice during his career. In addition to baseball, Holt was also a prep letterwinner in football and wrestling.

Neikirk sat out 2013 as a redshirt and will have four years of eligibility remaining when he arrives at Lourdes. A Garrettsville, Ohio product, Neikirk was a two-time First Team All-Portage Trail Conference pick out of James A. Garfield High School. He also was a three-year letterman in football for the G-Men where he earned PTC Offensive Player of the Year honors. Neikirk also will be joining the Lourdes cross country team this fall.
