One of Fifth Third Field's all-time favorite promotions is back- "Hens and Hounds Night" presented by The Blade. Fans are invited to bring their beloved pooch with them to the game on August 20.
The Hens have partnered with the Toledo Area Humane Society and the Lucas County Dog Warden to host the first dog friendly night at Fifth Third Field in nearly 10 years. Tickets for dog owners are $9 each, and tickets for your furry companion are $7 each. 100 percent of the dog ticket proceeds go to the Toledo Area Humane Society and Cutie's Fun.
Fans with their dog are asked to enter Fifth Third Field through the Center Field Gate near the corner of Monroe and St. Clair. The first 500 dogs will receive a Muddy Doggie Bandana. All dogs and owners will sit in the Home Run Picnic Terrace (sections 120 – 122). Dog must be on a six inch (or less) leash. No retractable leashes are allowed! Special water stations, mini-pools, and designated restroom areas will be provided. We expect large crowds of both dog fans and Hens fans, so please bring only well-behaved and well-mannered dogs.
Don't miss out on another exciting weekend at Fifth Third Field. The roar of thunder will echo through Fifth Third Field when fans crash their thundersticks- courtesy of Subway. Five lucky fans will also go home with FREE subway for an entire year! On Sunday, 1500 fans will take home a Toledo Mud Hens vintage tin lunch box featuring the home stadiums throughout Toledo's baseball history. The fun stretches into Monday when ‘Broadway comes to the Ballpark'. The homestand wraps up with ‘Hens and Hounds'.
