The University of Findlay women's soccer team defeated Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Tiffin University 4-1 on Saturday, September 21 at DeHaven Field.
The Oilers jumped out to a 1-0 lead when junior Eryn Weber scored at the 7 minute mark.
Tiffin University tied it up when Giulianne Domingues scored at the 21 minute mark. Her goal was assisted by Drew Plummer.
The Oilers quickly regained the lead when Eryn Weber scored her second goal of the contest at the 24 minute mark. Her goal was assisted by junior Danielle Hart.
The Oilers extended their lead when sophomore Kristin Elliott scored at the 33 minute mark of the game off of an assist by Hart. Then, at the 70 minute mark, the Oilers scored again when Eryn Weber scored her third goal of the contest.
Findlay dominated offensively with a 16-5 advantage in the shot department.
Goalkeeper Kelsea Corns picked up the win in the process and had 2 saves in the game.
The Oilers, who improve to 4-1 on the year, will face GLIAC foe Ashland University on the road on September 27 at 7 p.m.
