The University of Findlay volleyball team improved to 8-3 and 1-1 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-17) win over Lake Erie on Saturday, September 21 in Painsville, Ohio.
The Oilers were led offensively by sophomore Julie Lyons who had nine kills and a .615 hitting percentage.
Collecting seven kills was senior standout Danielle Taflinger.
Aiding the offense was junior Amanda Calhoun, who collected 26 assists in the match.
Findlay returns to the court next Friday, September 27 at 7pm with a road contest at Lake Superior State University.
