Hancock Co. weekend shooting caught on video

Posted: Updated:

A group of people allegedly fired almost two dozen bullets into a property in rural Hancock County, sending one victim to the hospital.

It happened Saturday at 9:12 p.m. at 15270 Township Road 215 just outside of Findlay near Arcadia.

13 ABC's Christine Long reports the drama was caught on video.

Quite a few neighbors did not want to talk on camera out of concerns for their own safety, but they say this property is a motorcycle club.

The mailbox says B.F.F.B., there's a swastika hanging in the window, and the driveway gates are chained shut.

It's the location that was allegedly targeted by gunmen this weekend.

This is video obtained by 13 ABC showing motorcycle riders arrive around 9 p.m.

Neighbors say approximately 30 motorcycles parked in front of the property on TR 215. More than a dozen cars lined up behind them.

First you hear a train going by, then 21 shots. The shooters are in and out, driving away, within four minutes.

One neighbor says, "It sounded like somebody had thrown a great big brick of firecrackers in the fire."

The Hancock County Sheriff has not returned 13 ABC's call for comment. His office released a statement simply saying one person was injured and transported to the Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center. The shooting investigation is open and ongoing.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was on the scene in the aftermath. Troopers at the Findlay post say it is no longer involved in the case.

The property on TR 215 sat empty throughout the day on Monday. 13 ABC did not see the owner.

Neighbors say the motorcycle club has been there for around four years and worry if they could be in danger.

"Something had to happen between two groups for this to happen," says one neighbor.

Anyone with information about this shooting is encouraged to call the Hancock County Sheriff's Office at 419-424-7097.
