The University of Findlay women's golf team is in a tie for third place at the Gilda's Club Laker Invite, which wrapped up first round competition on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Mich.
The Oilers shot a 327 and tired with Missouri-St. Louis for third place. Grand Valley State leads the tournament with a 318 and is followed by Ferris State, who shot a 322.
Michele Schambs and Shelby Warner are tied for eighth place after posting identical scores of 80 in the opening round.
Brooke Albers (82), Kasey Petty (85), Taylor Tweed (90), Hannah Schneider (91) and Emily Mock (97) are also competing for Findlay at the event.
