Toledo gang sweep nets 56 arrests

A Toledo police gang sweep resulted in 56 arrests Thursday, with thousands of dollars of drugs being taken off the street.

According to Toledo Police, that sweep was conducted to reduce gang and gun violence in the city as the SWAT and vice narcotics teams executed several warrants.  One gun was seized and close to $7000 in drugs were confiscated.  

The warrants in this case were for robbery, felony escape and burglary.
