Santa arrived at the National Museum of the Great Lakes on Sunday, but instead of reindeer pulling his sleigh, he arrived by barge.
Kris Kringle also offered Christmas trees for free with the purchase of a museum membership.
Development Director Anna Kolin said everyone was excited to see Santa. "Well as he was coming in with his booming 'Ho Ho Ho' and 'Merry Christmas' you could really see the kids getting excited about it. And they're cheering and excited to talk to him. And it wasn't just the kids... It was the adults too."
Santa also posed for photos and enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies with kids.
