Barber Academy offers FREE cuts for Kids

Posted: Updated:

The Toledo Barber Academy wants Toledo Public School Students to enjoy the holiday season with style.

The school is offering free hair cuts to TPS students through the month of January. Rob Slusser is the new Director of Adult Education.

He tells 13 ABC, "I believe whole heartedly about giving back to the community and I know a lot of our parents have some difficulties getting their sons or daughters hair cuts and if they can't ..they just need to tell me and I will make sure there sons or daughters hair is cut."

...many of times are students might be embarrassed that they have their hair uncut or untrimmed but with our academy here ...if they want to come here 2-3 times a week...that's okay with me .. as long as my students are learning and our community is getting something back from it..that's a positive thing."

You don't have to be a TPS student to enjoy the deep discounts here at the Toledo Barber Academy.

Hair cuts are 2 dollars for adults, 1.00 for veterans and TPS employees. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The Toledo Barber Academy is located on Upton avenue. Hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday.
