Mayor-elect Collins announces transition team

Mayor-elect D. Michael Collins announced key members of his administration Monday morning.

That includes a new police chief. Collins is appointing Lieutenant William Moton to the post. He'll take over for Chief Derrick Diggs. He announced his retirement last week, saying he does not agree with how Collins wants the department run.

Mayor-elect Collins also appointed long-time public servant Robert Reinbolt. He'll serve as Chief of Staff and Public Safety Director. Joel Mazur will be Assistant Chief of Staff.

Matt Sapara - Department of Business Development
Luis Santiago - Fire & Rescue
Adam Loukx - Department of Law
Tom Kroma - Department of Neighborhoods
William Franklin - Department of Public Services
Robin Whitney - Department of Public Utilities
Dr. David Grossman - Health Department
Tom Lemon - Plan Commission.
