This is Calvin "Tubby" Frazier's music studio. The 32 year old Scott high school grad has been making music since he was a kid. He tells 13 ABC, "I was beating on the desk every day.. they would be like Calvin stop beating on the desk..."

Calvin has created music for artists like TLC, The Roots, and Gospel star Deitrick Haddon.

Calvin produced Haddon's hit song "Have your way". He tells 13 ABC,

"I felt an urgency to send him this record...and a year went by and he called me and said your record is the reason I am still here...and I am still living...he wanted to give up and take his own life...he said the record kept him alive."

The song also led to a Grammy nomination. Calvin tells 13 ABC, "I come from a really troubled neighborhood...

anything is possible it doesn't matter where you are...if you put your mind to something you can do it...my goal is to be a positive light in a dark situation. " January can't get here fast enough. Calvin is looking forward to rubbing elbows with the industry's top musicians. He tells 13 ABC,

"I want to go to all the parties...I'm going to try to go to Jay Z's party, Diddy's party..that's my plan"

and after experiencing all the glitz and glamour Hollywood has to offer, Grammy or no Grammy-

Calvin says he'll head back to Toledo to do what he loves the most.

The Grammy's will take place Sunday January 26th.
