Forwards Pat Mullane and Maxim Shalunov been reassigned to Toledo by the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.
Mullane has appeared in 24 games this season with the IceHogs, posting 5 assists and 6 penalty minutes. The native of Wallingford, Connecticut played his college career at Boston College University where he was team captain last year. The 23 year old forward helped lead the Eagles to two NCAA Championships in 2010 and 2012. In 163 total games at Boston College, 5'11", 190 pound forward collecting 42 goals and 97 assists, including a career high 16 goals last year.
Shalunov, a 2011 4th round draft choice of the Chicago Blackhawks, has appeared in 18 games with Rockford this year with 4 assists. The native of Chelyabinsk, Russia was a member of the Bronze Medal winning team Russia in the World Junior Champions in 2011 and 2012. The 20 year old forward posted 30 goals and 30 assists in 2011-12 with Medvedi Chelyabinsk.
