UPS delivers late shipments

Posted: Updated:

UPS trucks are busy delivering parcels that should have arrived at homes several days ago. Instead of sitting on customers' doorsteps, packages were instead backed up in warehouses. UPS reports that the company delivered an estimated 132 million packages last week. The company attributes the backlog to an unprecedented surge in online sales coupled with bad weather. Still, many customers were outraged. UPS says the majority of its late shipments were delivered today.
