Runaway nativity scene sheep corralled in Flint cemetery

FLINT, Mich. (AP) - A sheep that bolted Christmas Eve from a live Nativity in Flint has been rounded up.

MLive.com reports that the sheep was caught Saturday morning in the city's Glenwood Cemetery.

The animal was part of the West Court Street Church of God's annual Nativity scene and eluded capture for several days.

Cemetery superintendent Peter Lemelin says the more the sheep was pursued Saturday by a group of volunteers "the more he moved."

An orange, flexible construction fence was used to corral the sheep in the 30-acre cemetery. The 6-month-old ewe has been returned home to a farm in Deerfield Township.
