If you get your water from the City of Toledo, you'll see some changes to your bill in the 2014.
Water rates go up 13.2 % come January 1st.
In April, Toledo City Council approved a series of steady increases for the next five years.
City leaders say the average customer will pay $5.76 more a quarter in 2014. The average customer will now pay $49.35 instead of $43.59 per quarter.
The increase is to help with repairs and upgrades to the city's aging water system. It will help fund $314 million worth of repairs and upgrades to the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant and the City's water distribution system.
According to the city, customers outside Toledo city limits will also help to fund the infrastructure improvements at Collins Park as their rates are governed through long-term contracts which are based on the Toledo water rate and adjust automatically.
