Restaurant offers special blizzard menu

Posted: Updated:

The severe weather forced hundreds of businesses to close on Monday, but the Bob Evans on SR 25 in Perrysburg was open, offering what it called a "blizzard menu."

The customers could choose from a limited number of items, instead of the restaurant's usual multi-page menu.

Manager Denis Hassel says the restaurant was understaffed due to the storm. "We came up with the blizzard menu. A menu I could do by myself and one server and be open to serve customers that did show up, which was very few."

The restaurant eventually decided to close its doors for the day.
