Lucas, Sandusky and Seneca Counties are currently under Level 1 Snow Emergencies. A Level 1 emergency means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and may be icy. Motorists are urged to drive very cautiously.

Thursday's snow is responsible for numerous crashes around Toledo. Due to the amount of traffic issues, Toledo Police are operating under "Phase 2" and are only responding to injury crashes and crashes that are blocking intersections.

Numerous accidents tied up traffic on major roadways throughout the afternoon and evening commute.
